hi Bethe!  first off, congrats on becoming HSBS Center Director!! woohoo!

on another note, I've been given the go ahead (finally after two years of whining, begging and pleading) to add more natural elements to our playground.  I have lots of tree stumps and cookie slices for loose parts.  I have found several really good websites to see ideas on how to put them in, but I'm wondering if you know of a good resource that will tell me the ins and outs of installing these items.  I'm wondering if we need to cement in the tree stumps etc... to make it safer?

thanks if you can forward any resources to me. :)

Thanks so much - it was great to see you too.

Very excited about the LVHC info - will blend perfectly with the IMIL info we have and the many resources from HSBS!  It all fits together perfectly in a beautiful package.

Keep up the great work.

Bethe:

Can you please direct me to the list that you sent out after the January San Jose training that listed all the ideas that the groups came up with for using the hula-hoops, paper plates, scarves, noodles, etc?  Thanks.

Bethe, this picture is one of our EHS Home Base Babies we had a social and a local photographer donated her time she took pics for us she gave us the pics on a CD and let us print one for the families. I told the parents it does not matter how small, we can talk to them and when changing their diaper, move their legs and arms gently, I had all the parents singing choosey songs to the babies Miss ya Trella
